The Abduction from the Seraglio is a Mozart opera about the rescue of two Spanish women, Konstanze and her maid Blonde, who have been kidnapped by pirates and sold to the Pasha Selim.

 

Their fiancés, Belmonte and Pedrillo, arrive to rescue them, leading to a plot involving disguises,Osmin (Pasha Selim's overseer) trying to court Blonde, and the Pasha's attempts to win Konstanze's love.
